Colby College Mules Win by 42 in Second Game of Colby Tip Off Classic

The Colby Women’s Basketball team hosted the second game of the Colby Tip-Off Classic today, Sunday, November 20th, against the Colby Sawyer Chargers. TIp off was at 2:00 PM and the Mules dominated the game, winning 61-19. 
Colby jumped out early, establishing a 15-2 lead after the first frame.  The Mules never looked back, outscoring the Chargers in every quarter. Colby led the second 16-7 behind eight points and two rebounds from Carter McGloon.  The Mules again won the third quarter 11-7, extending the lead to 26.  Eight different players helped close out the game with points in the fourth quarter for Colby, led by Lili Nagy with five.  

McGloon led the way with 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists for Colby.  She played 26 minutes and went 5-14 from the field.  Caroline Smith had another great game, scoring 11 points in 5 shots, dishing out four assists, and grabbing six rebounds. Chelsea Ibenegbu was next in line with seven while also recording three steals, four rebounds, and an assist. Ten other Mules also added to Colby’s final scoring tally: Lydia Mordarski (6); Bray Hunter (6); Mackenzie Younker (6); Lili Nagy (5); Lauren Cho (2); Gabrielle Hemenes (2); and Sophie Webb (2).
