All dog licenses expire December 31st of each year. Starting February 1st, late fees for dog registration is $25. 

The cost to register your dog is $6.00 for spayed/neutered or $11.00 for dogs that are not spayed/neutered. 

This is a State of Maine Law which requires licensing your dog after 6 months of age or within 10 days of ownership.

Registration can be done at the Fort Kent Town Office or The Police Department
