The North Atlantic Conference announced its first week of men’s basketball weekly awards on Tuesday and Husson University freshman Eric Ahlers was named rookie of the week. Ahlers finished his first collegiate week averaging 13.5 points and seven assists with three steals. Additionally, Ahlers scored 15 points in his collegiate debut and ended the week with a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double against the University of Maine-Fort Kent.
