Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.

MISSION: Provide fund-raising efforts to support the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce.
Plan, coordinate and implement events that focus on the promotion of our member
businesses through networking, cultural and recreational enrichment of the mid-Maine
area.
GOALS:
Host Business Breakfast Series 9 Months of 2020 at Thomas College Campus.
•Attract additional participants to event – increase marketing efforts. Enhance committee
membership. Contact individuals in larger organizations to purchase multiple admissions.
Host Business to Business Showcase on March 26, 2020, at Colby College Field House.
•Increase out of area contact to grow attendance. Add new Lanyard Sponsor.
Contact individual booths from prior years and members who had booths at KV Expo.
Produce an Annual Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2020 at Enchanted Gables.
• Event to remain at Enchanted Gables. Additional elements added to program. Add more
committee members to assist in breakdown. New “Parade of Cases” or dessert sponsorships?
Produce the Chamber Golf Classic on June 15, 2020 at the Waterville Country Club.
• Sell out 34 teams. Rain date proposed: June 16, 2020.
Produce the Taste of Waterville in August 2020.
• Consider moving the event due to infrastructure work in downtown. Reinvent overall focus.
Produce the Coldwell Banker Plourde Super Raffle Dinner Show on October 1, 2020 with
pre-sale of tickets done by directors, committee members and staff.
• Sell 275 tickets. Venue remains at Waterville Elks. Increase in 2nd Chance sponsorship.
