In their inaugural club indoor track & field season the Moose trekked down to Gorham, Maine competing in the USM Open #1. In the shot put Freshman Loran McAlpine surpassed her personal best by 9.5 inches with a throw of 27′ 2.5″ (8.29m) to place 8th. Sophomore Laura Le Floch followed up with a 4th place showing in the 3,000 meters in 13:10.07. The Moose will next make the journey back to Gorham to compete in the USM Open #2 on January 7th following the winter break.
