The University of Maine football program announced on April 21 that it will host the 20th Annual Jeff Cole Memorial Spring Game on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event offers fans an early look at the 2026 Black Bears, featuring both returning players and newcomers. The team brings back most of its offensive line, including All-Conference player Anthony Iliano as well as Jack Boutaugh, Andrew Kocan, and Noah Stanley. Freshman All-American running back Rashawn Marshall is also set to return for the Black Bears.
On defense, key players such as Chris Bacon (35 tackles), Jamaree Gibson (34 tackles and five pass breakups), Noah Carpenter (32 tackles), and Ta’Kai Chisholm (30 tackles) are expected to lead a new group on their side of the ball.
Due to ongoing construction at Morse Arena, fans attending the game are advised to park in the Satellite Parking Lot and enter through the north end zone side of the field.
The annual spring game serves as an important opportunity for supporters to connect with the team ahead of the upcoming season.
