The Colby Men's Soccer team tied the visiting Trinity Bantams 1-1 at the end of regulation. The Mules' record moves to 2-1-2 (0-1-1 in NESCAC) while Trinity moves to 0-1-1 in conference play.
Trinity stuck first in the 8th minute of play when Charles Kaldor struck a volley from Michael Traynor that ricocheted off the post and past the Colby keeper. Colby's talley came in the second half at the 72nd minute. Ethan Fabricant scored his second goal of the season assisted by Ethan Franco off a quick free kick. The opponents finished the final 18 minutes of play scoreless, leading to Colby's second tie in a row.
Colby led in corner kick attempts 13-2 while Trinity's keeper turned away seven attempts on goal. Brendan McCarthy had four saves in goal for the Mules.
Colby is back in action Monday when they take on the Monks of Saint Joseph's College.
