We have a good slate of tough non-conference games that will help our team develop as we move into the always challenging NAC schedule," said Maine Maritime Head Men's Basketball Coach, Dan McNeely. "The players have been working hard in practice and in the classroom, and I can't wait to watch their growth as a team this year."
The Mariners open up there 2022-23 campaign at the Stevenson University Tip Off Tournament on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. Maine Maritime will then host the University of Southern Maine on Tuesday, November 15 before heading back on the road for six-straight away games.
The first game will be against the University of New England on Saturday, November 19, followed by heading up to UMaine-Fort Kent on Tuesday, November 29. The squad will then go to Waterville to take on Thomas College in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener on Saturday, December 3. They'll finish out the first semester with UMaine-Augusta on Wednesday, December 7, UMaine-Farmington on Saturday, December 10, and Bowdoin College on Saturday, December 31.
Starting off the New Year, the Mariners have four consecutive home games. On Monday, January 2 they'll take on Colby College, then host two conference games against SUNY Poly and Cazenovia on Friday, January 6 and Saturday, January 7. Maine Maritime will then host Lesley in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, January 10 before heading to New York to face SUNY Canton and NVU-Johnson in two conference matches on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14.
Maine Maritime returns home on Tuesday, January 17 against Thomas, before playing back-to-back away games against UMaine-Presque Isle on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21. The Mariners then have a stretch of six home games, starting off with Husson University on Tuesday, January 24. They will then host NVU-Lyndon on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28, before hosting Bates on Tuesday, January 31 and UMaine-Farmington on Saturday, February 4.
The Mariners will have their last home game against UMaine-Fort Kent on Monday, February 6 and then their last regular season matchup against Husson University on Saturday, February 11.
