Colby College Overcomes Tigers To Win 66-64

Day two of the Midway Classic saw Colby take on Colorado College. The Mules came up against an opponent they had never faced before and started slowly. The Mules trailed at halftime but rallied to take a 66-64 win. The win takes Colby to 5-0 and drops the Tigers to 2-2.

Colby struggled to shoot the ball in the first half, which resulted in them trailing at half for only the second time all season. However, 6 points from Will King led the Mule's first-half scoring in addition to 5 from Jonah Obi, Lucas Green, and Cooper Wirkala.

The second half saw a little more productive shooting from the Mules as they were efficient from all around the court. They used this to their advantage and created a lead to win them the game. The Mule's second-half scoring was led by 14 points from Max Poulton and 8 from Noah Tyson. These factors and a few more missed shots from Colorado College allowed the Mules to escape with the victory. The Mules scoring for the game came from Poulton, who scored 18, and Tyson and King chipping in another 10.
