The Maine Department of Transportation will implement a southbound lane closure on I-95 in Bangor, where it crosses over Broadway. This closure is set for Monday, March 3rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to facilitate equipment setup and ensure worker safety. Southbound traffic will be limited to one lane through the work zone, while northbound lanes remain unaffected.

Construction on this bridge replacement project began in June 2023. It is part of a comprehensive, multi-year initiative involving bridge replacements and intersection improvements. The project is expected to conclude in late 2026.

Funding for this project includes approximately $9.3 million from a 2020 U.S. DOT INFRA Grant. New England Infrastructure, Inc., based in Hudson, Massachusetts, is the contractor responsible for the $30.6 million contract.
