Due to an unexpected Culvert/road collapse Mill Dam Rd and the access to the Mill Dam beach is closed until repairs can be completed. The road may appear to be drivable but it is unsafe for vehicular traffic due to the possibility for additional collapse.
We know that summer is arriving and are working with the contractor to get this fixed and back open. We are aware this is not ideal timing but it wasn’t something planned/expected to happen . While we wait for the Mill Dam beach to reopen please remember there are multiple other swimming locations including another on Branch Lake at the State boat launch and one on Green Lake at the Boat Launch .
