Jared Golden, a U.S. Congressman representing Maine’s 2nd District since 2019, recently shared his thoughts and legislative proposals through a series of tweets. Known for his previous service in the Maine House of Representatives and as an alumnus of Bates College, Golden has been vocal about family values and workers' rights.

On February 16, 2025, Congressman Jared Golden expressed personal pride in being a father and husband while introducing a new proposal aimed at supporting families. He stated, "Nothing in life makes me prouder than being a loving father and husband. I’m proposing the FISC so everyone can create the family they want to have."

The following day, on February 17, 2025, he emphasized the need for improved support for working families by urging collective action with the tweet: "Let’s do better for working families." This message was accompanied by an invitation to learn more about his initiatives.

On February 18, 2025, Golden addressed issues concerning workers' rights by defending the National Labor Relations Board's role. He criticized President Trump's decision regarding Gwynne Wilcox with these words: "The National Labor Relations Board has tirelessly defended worker’s rights for generations. It needs to be able to continue doing its job effectively and independently. President Trump's decision to fire Member Gwynne Wilcox was wrong and must be reversed."
