College Road in Lewiston closed for emergency repairs due to sinkhole

The Maine Department of Transportation has announced an emergency closure of College Road in Lewiston due to a sinkhole caused by a culvert failure. Crews are currently on-site assessing the damage and determining the next steps for repair. In the meantime, drivers will be directed to a detour route utilizing Route 202 and Stetson Road.
