He stated, "Middle-class families need help. My new plan replaces the Child Tax Credit with more generous, targeted monthly payments that give parents real choices about the best way to raise their kids."
In a tweet dated February 14, 2025, Golden expressed his views on American industrial policy. He emphasized that tariffs alone are insufficient to rebuild industry and highlighted the need for comprehensive policies. He wrote, “Tariffs alone will not rebuild American industry.
